Over the weekend, I painted the walls and the window trim in the office. I mentioned that our plantation shutters will be arriving shortly for the large front-facing window, so I had to get the outer trim painted white prior to their arrival. The walls are Behr Castle Path in eggshell {shocker} and the outer window trim is Behr Swiss Coffee in semi-gloss.
As a reminder, here is how the room looked during our first walk-through. It was being used as the children’s television room, so there was a large entertainment center, couch and chair in the space.
Here you can see several before and after shots from this past weekend. The afters are all still really plain, but I love that the new paint colors is more neutral and really allows the outdoors to shine!
And although you can’t see it in the photos above, the outdoor greenery is really starting to liven the place up around here! I love looking out every window in our home and seeing trees, green grass, and plants starting to bloom! Here are my view out of the office.
I’ve got a long ways to go in this room, but I’m really happy with the new paint color!
